Areas of expertise in which in-game characters may specialize, such as swordplay, armed combat or computer hacking. Most commonly encountered in role-playing games.

Example: In Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, you can’t repair droids if your hero doesn’t possess the proper repair skill.
