Bullet Time

Jargon.

A special effect that lets the player move at normal speed while other characters and objects (e.g. bullets) appear to move in slow motion. Popularized by the Matrix movies, the term is a trademark owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment. As such, use a generic term such as "slow motion" instead whenever possible.
